A great milestone on the journey of collaboration in education between Pakistan and Finland was reached: Iqra University School System and Finnish Global Education Solutions signed an agreement to partner up in K12 education.

The collaboration between FGES and IUSS will start by joint efforts in teacher training in the first phase, in order to do quality interventions to enhance the academic processes for bringing high-quality education to K12 education sector. Ultimately, the joint efforts will lead to opening an International Finnish School in Karachi.

The collaboration will start immediately.

The CEO of FGES, Mr. Antti Kaskinen says: “We have worked in Pakistan for quite some time already. I am very happy to have established a partnership with IUSS –an organization that shares the values and ambitions with us. The accomplishments so far are a great example of the power of collaboration: we would not be here without the work of Mr. Wille Eerola, the Honorary Consul General of Pakistan.”
